Angst started from a personal dream. When I was a kid, I had to wear the secondhand clothes of my older step-cousin. Back then, thrifting wasn’t a trend – it was for the lowest class. I got bullied for it, and I always dreamed of wearing something expensive, something that made me feel different. But for a long time, that dream stayed out of reach, especially because I was broke for a lot of my life.

Later on, I made a name for myself in the music industry as a multi-platinum producer. But after a while, I lost my passion for it. The industry changed, and I wanted something more tangible, something with real substance. So I sold off my assets and moved into fashion.

With Angst, I want to do two things: First, I want to be the bridge between streetwear and high fashion – something for people who feel stuck in streetwear but don’t know how to step out of it. Second, I want to create clothes for people who love their high fashion pieces but won’t wear them every day. My goal is to give them that same level of quality without the price tag. I’m here to challenge both worlds – the streetwear scene and the high fashion industry.

The style of Angst is dystopian. But it’s more than just a look. The name itself says it: it’s a narcissistic genius story. Everyone can take their own meaning from that. It’s about focusing on yourself, giving yourself some space in a world where self-centeredness is seen as a flaw. It’s about reminding people that it’s okay to love yourself a little more. And for me, it’s personal – I’ve been diagnosed as a narcissist, and that’s part of why I chose the name.
